Gigpig is a community generated and moderated world wide gig guide. Users, once registered, can add any upcoming gigs they know of, other registered users will then promote gigs they like or bury gigs they dislike. There is also an option to mark a gig as fake, our internal system will remove gigs that does not reach 65% positive votes.

Users are awarded "reliability" points for adding correct gigs, with more reliability rewarded for popular gigs (as voted by other users). Reliability is a measure of how much a user is trusted by the Gigpig community. As a user gains reliability they are given access to functionality for maintaining and updating Gigpig as follows:

Gigpig also rewards active users with achievments - visible proof on the users contribution to the site. Achievements are displayed on the user profile page.
